Cognitive Elevation: About

Cognitive Elevations Behavioral Health Services (CEBHS) is a multifaceted behavioral health organization in Maryland established in 2022. CEBHS offers an array of treatment options for mental health disorders for children, adolescents, adults, and families, including individual, Family, and group counseling; mental health PRP for Adults and minors; and mental health and substance use ASAM 3.5, among other services. We are determined to provide quality services geared towards the prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery of those dealing with mental health and substance use disorders; in order to begin a supportive reintroduction to their families and communities.

CEBHS promotes a safe, confidential environment for all individuals, regardless of race, gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or disability. All clients are respected and accepted for who they are and what they present. It is our goal to help individuals help themselves while assisting them with managing the mental, physical, and social challenges they may encounter on a daily basis. Treatment is designed to meet the specific, individual needs of each client. We prioritize the following with every program participant:

• The promotion of both physical and mental health and wellness
• The integration of independent living and life skills
• Becoming an active positive member of their family and community

With support from Cognitive Elevations Behavioral Health Services, individuals can improve their skills and find mental wellness balance, enhancing their quality of life and helping them meet their personal, learning, work, and community goals. CEBHS helps clients set specific goals related to self-care, behavioral management, social improvement, and other community skills, reducing their need for mental health support. We also help clients access and coordinate services and resources in their communities and work to ensure that each individual has access to the best possible treatment and care.
